Singapore - When you visit Raymond's workshop (or 'garage' for the Western hemisphere people), your visual senses will be overloaded with the array of GTRs parked outside. This the usual scene daily - customers are lined up to get their cars fixed and modified by Ray's crack team of mechanics.
There are always a few Mazda RX8s parked around, reminding us of Ray's humble beginnings. Loyal customers from back in the day when Ray Motorsports was modifying 1.3 L RENESIS engines. While other workshops seem to be struggling with maintaining daily operations, Ray's is doing something right. So much so that a second outlet was needed to keep up the demand for his company's workmanship.
Together with two new shareholders, Ernest and Jeff, RMS RAYMOTORSPORTS PTE LTD newly opened workshop at Carros Centre, are looking to diversify their portfolio. Taking on more continental cars, while buying and selling second-hand cars. To top it off, it will be a one-stop solution, with repairs, full checks and servicing packages for those who want to buy or sell off their beloved rides. Now housing ample space, that can hold 6 cars at any given time, RMS Raymotorsports is making sure that they stay relevant and still provide the top-notch service that their customers have come to know and love.
The grand opening was graced by 15 GTRs from the Singapore GTR Club Singapore, nine Mazda RX8s, a Lamborghini Huracan Performante, a wild fully carbon Audi R8 V10 and a few other makes, graced the event. Family and friends were treated to food and drinks together with a traditional Lion and Dragon Dance troupe, ushering good luck and warding away bad vibes.
