Sepang, Malaysia - 2020 has been an unprecedented year for everyone and because of the pandemic, life will not be the same as it was before.
The pandemic has forced us to adapt and change the way we live because things won’t go back to normal in a few weeks, or even a few months. Some things never will go back to the way it was before 18th March, when the movement control order was first enforced.
For Motorsport enthusiast where regular track days is most likely a monthly routine, we have only recently started to be allowed to host and conduct race events and track days under the condition following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Battle of Speed Sepang (BOSS) Time Attack was something else for the team this year. With the SOP implemented, it's understandable for some of us that did not get the chance to attend and spectate the event, unless you are the registered participant. The excitement of knowing that we are still allowed to go on with our initial plan in the beginning of the year with just a few minor setbacks. Hence, we have to adapt our self to cater the participant with the “new normal" and everyone has to do their best to straighten the curve.
With that being said, that has not stop us from having a good time at the event. Last but not least, we would like to show our deepest gratitude to the Malaysian Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kementerian Belia dan Sukan) for the support and giving us the chance to organize such successful event. Thank you team, sponsors and our fellow participants. Hope everyone had a good time, till next time!
