GDL Racing launches its assault on 24H Dubai

GDL starts 2017 on a high by fielding three cars for the massive endurance race in the Emirates!

The first 2017 race for GDL Racing is scheduled for this week (12, 13, 14 January), at the 24H Dubai. The Emirates race is a fixture for Gianluca De Lorenzi’s team, that has claimed several victories and class podiums in the last few editions of the highly successful endurance race.

The 24H Dubai this year will see a massive participation of cars from GDL Racing, the line-up will include two Lamborghinis Huracán Super Trofeo and one Porsche Cayman GT4.

To share one of the Sant’Agata Bolognese race cars will be a trio of Singaporean drivers that include Lim Keong Liam, Bruce Lee and Gerald Tan (9tro’s very own Head of Motorsports), as well as the Hong Kong’s Nigel Farmer, all very skilled in endurance competition under the GDL Racing banner. Frenchman, Franck Pelle, Finn, Rory Pentinnen, American, Vic Rice and German, Pierre Ehret will share the other Lambo.

Five driver will be at the wheel of the Porsche Cayman GT4, they are; Jonathan Hui, Frank Yu and Antares Au all from Hong Kong plus, Kevin Wing and King Tse from Macau.

In the same weekend, GDL Racing will be at the start of the Proto Series, the new Creventic’s championship that will kick off with the 3X3H Dubai. Lim Keong Liam, Bruce Lee and Nigel Farmer, will share a Radical SR3 RSX for that race.
